Current-Readout Technique for Ultra-High-Rate Experiments

Keyword:RESEARCH

OBJECTIVE.

A research team led by Professor Jiro Murata (College of Science, Rikkyo University) has succeeded in developing technology that makes it possible to observe ultra-high counting rates of up to 1 billion events per second (gigahertz), which was unattainable with conventional technology.

The results of this research were published in the journal "Progress of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (PTEP)", published by the Physical Society of Japan.
