Instructions for Embassy Nominated MEXT Scholarship Students (Research Students)

How to apply for Letter of Provisional Acceptance at Rikkyo University

The procedure is in accordance with the system set by the Japanese Government.
To apply for Letter of Provisional Acceptance it is necessary to pass the primary screening at Japanese Embassy /Consulate (diplomatic establishment) at your country. For more details, please refer to the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship website. Inquiries about the screening schedule should be made at the Japanese diplomatic mission at your country.

In case you consider studying at Rikkyo University, after you successfully pass the primary screening at the Japanese diplomatic mission in your country, submit the necessary documents within the deadline set by the ”APPLICATION GUIDELINES FOR JAPANESE GOVERNMENT (MEXT) SCHOLARSHIP (RESEARCH STUDENTS)” through the form below.

Academic transcript for all academic years of university attended
