OBJECTIVE.

The research group including Assistant Professor Emiko Yoro, Master's student Seiya Suzuki, Assistant Professor Nobuhiro Akiyoshi, Professor Keiko Sakakibara (College of Science, Rikkyo University) has identified a transcription factor PpRKD that determines the female developmental fate in the moss Physcomitrium patens, a species in which both male and female reproductive organs develop at the same apex of the same individual.
