Rikkyo University is located in Tokyo and its neighboring prefecture, Saitama, and those are the key area where politics and economy in Japan and cultures and fashion from all over the world are gathered to co-exist. Enjoy an exciting urban experience!
Ikebukuro, which is the closest to Ikebukuro Campus of Rikkyo University, is the second busiest railway station in the world. Ikebukuro is connected directly to Shiki, where Rikkyo's Niiza Campus is located, and such major railway terminals as Shinjuku, Shibuya, Tokyo, Yokohama, and so on.
Ikebukuro area is well-known as the hub of cultures that include traditional Japanese culture as temple, shrines, and Japanese gardens, theaters as well as otaku that includes Otome Road ("Maiden Road" as the hub of female manga and anime) and many other sub-cultures. Have fun!
