4.Coursework
College of Intercultural Communication linguistics-related courses (including DLP courses), Basic Skills/Academic Skills, Advanced Seminar, and graduate school courses

5.Position Details
Responsible for:teaching and education-related matters, research-related matters, entrance examination related work, undergraduate and graduate school administrative support work, and other duties as prescribed by the Faculty Dean and/or Department Chair

6.Qualifications
① Ph.D./Ed.D. or expected to be acquired by the time of employment.
② Experience teaching at Japanese university.
③ Ability to contribute to the teaching and sustainability a five-year undergraduate-graduate integrated English language education program.
④ Ability to contribute to community-based collaboration activities.
⑤ Ability to contribute to the education of the undergraduate program that emphasizes study abroad.
⑥ Ability to contribute to the curriculum (general subjects) of the university.
⑦ Ability to teach in English and Japanese.

7.Conditions
Conditions of employment are determined by the University's regulation (mandatory retirement at 65).

9.Application Submission Procedures
① Submit a CV using the specified Rikkyo University format and following the specified instructions (download the CV guidelines and the CV template from the links below). CV formats other than the Rikkyo University format will not be accepted.

② Fill out the published research section of the CV as instructed on the CV guidelines.
③ Provide 3 published articles/chapters of research (photocopies are acceptable).
④ Provide one letter of recommendation. (Be sure to include the person's contact information.)

Note:
(1) All submitted material should be in either English or Japanese. The letter of recommendation is also to be in either English or Japanese. The CV guidelines, a CV sample, and the CV template are downloadable from the links below on this site.
(2) Mail application documents by registered mail to the address below. In red, write "Applied Linguistics Tenured position application documents enclosed" on the envelope. Application documents will not be returned.

10.Selection Procedure:
The application process is based upon a document review and interview. Interviews will be conducted at the end of July and/or the beginning of August of 2019, and selected candidates will be contacted by July 23, 2019.
*Transportation expenses for interviews will not be paid.
