TATSUHIKO ITOH

Tatsuhiko Itoh is Chair of Japanese Branch of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres (IAML) and Japanese National Committee of Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale (RILM). Professor Emeritus at College of Liberal Arts and Graduate School of Comparative Culture, International Christian University. He holds Doctor of Philosophy from Duke University and Master of Arts from State University of New York at Stony Brook.

BARBARA DOBBS MACKENZIE

Barbara Dobbs MacKenzie is President and Editor-in-Chief of Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale (RILM), a not-for-profit organization that documents and disseminates music research worldwide, across all disciplinary, cultural, and linguistic boundaries. She is also Director of the Barry S. Brook Center for Music Research and Documentation, a scholarly facility of the Graduate Center of the City University of New York that aims to promote and provide a setting for wide-ranging research and documentation activities in music. Mackenzie was elected President of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres (IAML) for a four-year term beginning August 2013, an organization that encourages and promotes the activities of music libraries, archives and documentation centres to support and facilitate the realization of projects in music bibliography, music documentation and music library and information science at national and international levels. A non-teaching faculty member of the Ph.D. Program in Music at the CUNY Graduate Center, Mackenzie serves on its Executive Committee. She is a Past President of NFAIS (National Federation of Advanced Information Services), a global, non-profit membership organization serving those who create, aggregate, and organize authoritative information online. Mackenzie holds a Ph.D. in musicology from the University of Michigan.

ZDRAVKO BLAŽEKOVIĆ

Zdravko Blažeković is Director of the Research Center for Music Iconography at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and executive editor of Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale. In 1998 he founded an annual journal for music iconography Music in Art, which he has been editing since. He is also chair of the ICTM Study Group on Iconography of the Performing Arts. His research area concerns 18th- and 19th-century music of Southeast and Central Europe, music iconography, organology, historiography of music, reception of Greek and Roman organology in modern times, musical contacts between Europe and China before the early 19th century, and music symbolism in medieval and renaissance astrology.

BENJAMIN KNYSAK

Benjamin Knysak is the Managing Associate Director of the Répertoire international de la presse musicale (RIPM), the international project charged with digitizing, indexing, and providing access the eighteenth-, nineteenth- and twentieth-century musical press. He studied at the Peabody Conservatory, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Illinois. Previously, he was a Lecturer in the Musicology Department of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and worked on the Variations 2 Digital Library at Indiana University funded by the National Science Foundation. Since joining RIPM in 2004, he has worked on the creation and release of RIPM's various digital and full text projects, including the RIPM Index with Full Text, the Preservation Series, and the forthcoming RIPM Jazz Periodicals. To develop these projects, he helped create RIPM's digital infrastructure and its Partner and Participating Library Program. The latter has permitted the rapid development of the RIPM Archive of Music Periodicals through partnerships and contributions from many of the world's great music libraries, including the Library of Congress, Sibley Music Library of the Eastman School of Music, Yale University, the Brussels Conservatory and the Moscow Conservatory. He has given papers and presentations at congresses of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres (IAML), the International Musicological Society (IMS), and in many other musicological and librarianship venues; he has published papers on musicological and bibliographical topics. Benjamin's research interests focus on the the historic musical press (1700-1966); music bibliography; information technology; jazz journals and journalism; music in immigrant communities in the United States; and historiography.

MARI ITOH

Mari Itoh is Vice-Chair of Japanese Branch of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres (IAML). Professor of Faculty of Human Informatics, Department of Human Informatics, Aichi Shukutoku University. She earned her Master of Library Science and Master of Arts in Music History from State University of New York of Buffalo and Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Aichi Shukutoku University. Her research interests include Music Librarianship, Metadata and Training of Subject Librarians.

TOSHIKO SEKINE

Toshiko Sekine is Secretary General of Japanese National Committee of Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale (RILM). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Musicology from Toho Gakuen Music School and continued her study at Conservatoire de Paris(French government scholarships). She also studied Cembalo under Scott Ross and Ton Koopman. Lecturer at Toyo University, Commentator with NHK-FM “Kogaku-no-Tanoshimi(Delight of Early Music)”.

NATSUKO ASAYAMA

Natsuko Asayama serves as Chief on the iBis project at Japanese National Committee of Rèpertoire International de Littérature Musicale(RILM) and is reponsible for assembling the project team. She holds her Ph.D. in Musicology from Tokyo University of Arts. Lecturer of the Department of Music Education at the Faculty of Education, Hirosaki University. Her research interests include Musicology, Western Music History, J. S.Bach, Early Music, Reception History, Description of Music History in Germany.

ERIA KUBO

Eria Kubo is Board Member of Japanese Branch of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres (IAML). Researcher in a project “The Research on Musical Sources in Japan” by the Musicological Society of Japan commissioned by the Agency for Cultural Affairs to launch “The Union Catalogue of Modern Japanese Music Printed Before 1945”(2011-2013). She earned her Ph.D. in Art Studies from Meiji Gakuin University. Her research encompasses Shin’ichi Suzuki, Suzuki Method, Modern History of Western Music and Western Music Education in Japan.

JIHONG ZHANG

Jihong Zhang is Associate Professor, Head of Subject Librarian, Graduated student tutor at Shanghai Conservatory of Music Library.Visiting scholar, Stanford University Music Library, 2014-2015. She holds her Ph.D. in Musicology from Shanghai Conservatory of Music(2006). Her research concerns Historical Musicology, Music Library, Music Education.

KATIE LAI

Katie Lai is Music Liaison Librarian, Head of Acquisitions Services (Hong Kong Baptist University Library) , Chair of the Hong Kong National Committee of Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale (RILM), Member of the Copyright Committee of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML), Member of the Membership Committee of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML), Member of the Library Advisory Board of American Institute of Physics and Member of the Library Advisory Board of Duke University Press. She earned her Master of Library and Information Studies from McGill University(2003) and Master of Music from McGill University(2001).

JEONG YOUN CHANG

Jeong Youn Chang is Lecturer at Ewha Womans University, Coordinating Committee of Répertoire International des Sources Musicales(RISM), Membership Committee of the International Asoociation of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML), Visiting Researcher, in Bavarian State Library, Munich, Germany (Jul. 2015). She earned her Ph.D. in Musicology from Ewha Womans University. Her dissertation title was “Mapping the Modern Music Culture of 1920s in Korea: Focusing on Music Publications”.
