Victor T. King (Emeritus Professor at the University of Leeds, South East Asian Studies, Professorial Research Associate at the University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies)

He completed the master’s degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London, and obtained PhD at the University of Hull. Professor King has been engaged in promoting the development of South East Asian studies in UK as Director of the Centre for South-East Asian Studies at the University of Hull. He was Executive Director of the White Rose East Asia Centre (WREAC) at the University of Leeds from 2005 to 2010.
