Other Supports

To make campus life even more convenient and comfortable, both campuses of Rikkyo University are equipped with student cafeterias, as well as facilities such as bookstores and shops. All people are welcome to use any of these facilities.

Cafeterias (Ikebukuro Campus)

Main Dining Hall

This cafeteria was completed in 1919, alongside the Main Building, the Rikkyo All Saints' Chapel, and Buildings No. 2 and 3. The cafeteria is distinguished by its brickwork exterior and plastered walls.

Restaurant Ivy

This cafeteria also has a bakery serving freshly-baked bread. The cafeteria space is open until 20:00 and available as a common space after the end of dining service hours.

TULLY'S COFFEE

Cafe located right by the entrance to the library. In addition to lattes, coffees, and other drinks, there is also a range of foods on offer, such as pasta and bread.

Building No. 9 Snack Cafeteria

A snack cafeteria offering various weekly menus. Box lunches are also available for purchase at the shop found in the cafeteria.

Hibiya Matsumotoro St. Paul's House

This is a restaurant operated by Hibiya Matsumotoro, a long-established restaurant that offers Japanese-style western cuisine. The restaurant is not just limited to alumni - anyone is welcome here.

Cafeterias (Niiza Campus)

Forest

This bright, clean, glass-sided cafeteria has 670 seats, including terrace seating. The venue is open even after dining service hours have ended, until 21:00.

A cafe offering a variety of pasta, salad and rice dishes, along with coffee, tapioca and other drinks. The venue is open even after dining service hours have ended, until 21:00.

The restaurant is also open on public holidays when there are classes.

University Shops (Books, merchandise, etc.)

The shops offer a variety of discounted services on the Ikebukuro and Niiza Campuses, from sales of goods ranging from essential student items such as stationery, books, food, and drinks to Rikkyo merchandise, arrangements for trips and insurance, offering information on driving schools, receiving applications for certification tests, and more. Opening hours may change due to recess periods, entrance exams, and various other events. Please see the links for details.
