The Niiza Library is designed as an undergraduate library for comprehensive study and research. It was established in April 1998, together with the College of Tourism and the College of Community and Human Services and their respective graduate divisions. The library was renovated and furnished with state of the art equipment in April 2006, when the College of Contemporary Psychology and its graduate division were established. It contains approximately 210,000 books and subscribes to 770 journals. It can also be used by persons aged 20 and over who live or work in Niiza City.
Constructed in 1982, the Niiza Repository Library has accumulated a diverse collection that has become the pride of Rikkyo University. The collection contains documents related to the Episcopal Church, rare books, approximately 80,000 volumes published before 1955, various periodicals published before 1970 (including American and European newspapers), numerous collections, and microfilm materials. Note: Materials in the Niiza Repository Library can only be accessed by requesting them through other branch libraries.
