The Business Leadership Program (BLP) of the College of Business was referred at the seventh proposal of the Education Rebuilding Implementation Council

05/28/2015

The Business Leadership Program (BLP) of the College of Business was referred in the seventh proposal of the Education Rebuilding Implementation Council as an example of active learning.
Active learning is, unlike one-way lectures from teachers, a general term of the teaching/learning methods that involve learners’ active participations in learning.
BLP was implemented as a core curriculum of the Department of Business upon the foundation of the College of Business in 2006. Setting an educational goal of ‘developing leaderships that can be exerted without being in the position of authority’, it offers Project-Based Learning from the first year through the third year, in collaboration with private corporations and such.
In 2008, it was adopted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology for its Program for Promoting High-Quality University Education, and in 2011, it was recognized as an ‘innovative curriculum’ among them that was expected to have an impact on other Universities.
