This announcement provides information about changes to the Spring 2011 semester schedules caused by the earthquake and tsunami that occurred in northeastern Japan on March 11.

Although Rikkyo University’s facilities were not damaged, the accompanying disruption of transportation and the implementation of the power outages as well as concerns over the Fukushima nuclear power plant and continuing aftershocks have caused the university to delay or cancel some events for the spring semester.

In view of these circumstances, the University has set the starting date for spring semester classes to May 6, 2011 (Friday). Accordingly, distribution of Academic Guidelines, the daily schedule, various guidance sessions, and health checks, will be changed to mid-April and the exact dates of each will be announced later on our website as soon as they are set, so please check back later.
However, the 2011 “f-Campus” program registration will be done on schedule for March 29 (Tuesday) - April 4 (Monday).

Announcement of Results for the academic year 2010 will be done as scheduled on March 28 (Mon), will be sent by post, and will also be viewable on the web site. The period for consultation on grades, scheduled for March 28 (Monday) - April 1 (Friday) will be extended to April 11 (Monday).
