Rikkyo University Signs an Exchange Agreement with Fu Jen Catholic University (Taiwan)


Rikkyo University has established an exchange agreement with Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan, and is starting a new partner relationship including student exchange. This is the 43rd partner university for Rikkyo, the 14th exchange agreement in Asia, and the 2nd in Taiwan following the National Chengchi University.

Fu Jen Catholic University, previously known as Fu Jen Academy, established in 1925, is a pontifical university which is directly under the authority of the Holy See. It is the first Taiwanese Catholic university, and ranked as one of the top private universities in Taiwan. The university has a campus of 35 hectares in Hsinchuan, Taipei County, and 27,000 students are enrolled at 9 colleges, 48 departments offering 46 master’s and 11 Ph. D. programs. After its reestablishment in Taiwan, more than 140,000 students have graduated, and alumni are making contributions in all fields, such as politics, business, education, culture, show business, and sports.
