Honorary Doctorate Award Ceremony and Commemorative Lecture for the Archbishop of Canterbury

The Most Revd. and Rt. Hon. Dr. Rowan Douglas Williams, the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury, made a visit to Japan, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Nippon Sei Ko Kai (Anglican Episcopal Church in Japan).
On the occasion of this visit, Rikkyo University awarded an honorary doctorate to Dr. Williams on Monday, September 21st at Rikkyo University All Saints Chapel, and the ceremony was followed by his commemorative lecture.
