Rikkyo University President Hideitsu Ohashi welcomed Fazle Hasan Abed on January 20th, and awarded him an honorary doctorate in humane letters in a ceremony followed by Dr. Abed’s commemorative lecture: “A New Path to Innovate Our Global Society.” Abed is the chairperson of BRAC (Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee), one of the world’s biggest NGOs, headquartered in Bangladesh.
