For “special international students” enrolled via inter-university agreements
If deemed necessary by a supervising professor, special international students sent from Rikkyo University’s partner institutions via an inter-university agreement can receive tutorial help during their first three months in Japan. Sessions run on a two-hour per week basis and the tutors are students deemed suitable for the international students’ specialized field, and selected by the advisor or supervising professor. In some cases, international students sponsored by Monbukagakusho and international students studying abroad through consignment by organizations paying scholarships can use this system.
